Al ser el bacanora una bebida emblemática de Sonora y que es reconocida a nivel nacional e internacional, la Comisión de Fomento al Turismo (Cofetur) y el municipio de Rosario, invitaron a la primera edición del Bacanora Fest 2019, que se realizará del 15 al 17 de marzo en esta población.

Héctor Platt Mazón, subcoordinador de Operaciones de Cofetur, destacó la importancia de efectuar este tipo de eventos en dicho Municipio, ya que además de incentivar el turismo rural y familias en la región, se promueven las tradiciones y belleza natural con las que cuenta.

«Siendo el bacanora nuestra bebida típica y emblemática no sólo de la región, sino de todo el estado de Sonora, sirve perfectamente para agrupar este Festival, quisiera decir que esta ha sido una encomienda que nos ha dado la gobernadora, de apoyar a todas las regiones, de tratar de en conjunto crear este tipo de productos para que el turismo se mueva por todo el estado», explicó el funcionario estatal.

La alcaldesa de Rosario, Karina Valenzuela Mendívil, explicó que en esta primera edición del Bacanora Fest habrá eventos culturales, artísticos, conferencias y talleres relacionados a la producción de esta bebida, sin olvidar la degustación y la alimentación con los platillos tradicionales, todo con la finalidad de incentivar la economía y el turismo.

«Este Festival lo hacemos con esa intención, de decirle a los productores de mi Municipio que estamos con ellos, que no están solos, que se sientan arropados, estamos comprometidos con apoyarlos con su desarrollo, primeramente agruparlos, organizarlos y luego impulsarlos, porque estoy segura que puede detonar la economía, el turismo y muchas cosas buenas para el municipio», señaló Valenzuela Mendívil.

Pavel Dennis Quiñónez, director administrativo del Consejo Sonorense Regulador del Bacanora, reconoció el impacto tan positivo en esta industria por este tipo de eventos, debido a que además del beneficio turístico para la región, se impulsa la economía de los Municipios productores de bacanora.

«Afortunadamente ha prendido mucho el tema de la industria del bacanora, que ya Rosario se suma, incluso hay otras propuestas nacionales e internacionales que están buscando este tipo de eventos como el Bacanora Fest, el caso de San Carlos, Puerto Peñasco, Ures, incluso Tucson y Phoenix, que ya nos están contactando para ver la posibilidad de llevar más allá de las fronteras lo que es el bacanora», subrayó Dennis Quiñónez.
