La corriente de chorro, una vaguada profunda y la aproximación de un frente frío, que se disipará en Baja California, pero generarán nublados en Sonora y aire fresco, especialmente en el noroeste y noreste. No hay potencial de lluvias, a pesar de estas condiciones, continuará el ambiente muy cálido en los valles del centro, oriente y sur de Sonora con algunas temperaturas máximas cercanas a 35 grados Celsius (°C), informa el Organismo de Cuenca Noroeste (OCNO) de la Comisión Nacional del Agua (Conagua).
También se espera el día de mañana cielo mayormente despejado y tiempo muy cálido en el centro, oriente y sur del Sonora. Por la mañana se esperan algunas temperaturas cercanas a 0°C en las sierras más elevadas del norte, noreste y oriente del estado.
De acuerdo al aviso meteorológico de la Conagua, en las próximas 48 horas se prevé una circulación anticiclónica y una vaguada profunda y seca que favorecerá afluencia de nublados en niveles altos pero sin potencial de lluvias y un refrescamiento de las temperaturas, sin embargo, persistirá el ambiente caluroso donde se prevén temperaturas máximas a los 35 °C en el centro, sur y oriente, en tanto en las sierras más elevadas continuarán las temperaturas mínimas cercanas a los 0°C.
Las temperaturas más altas de las últimas 24 horas, en grados Celsius, fueron de 37.7 en San Bernardo, 37.0 en presa Plutarco E. Calles, 36.5 en El Orégano II, 36.4 en El Cubil y 36.0 en Mazatán.. En tanto las temperaturas mínimas fueron de -1.6 en Basaseachic, -1.0 en Yepachic, 1.0 en Temósachic, 2.0 en Bacanuchi, Arizpe, Yécora y presa Abraham González.

El sistema de presas hidráulicas de Sonora está a 48.9 por ciento de su capacidad total, con un almacenamiento de 3 mil 902.771 millones de metros cúbicos (Mm3) de agua. La presa Lázaro Cárdenas “La Angostura” se encuentra a 103.9 por ciento con 731.150 Mm3, con una extracción por obra de toma de 0.8 m3/s y un gasto de 30.8 m3/s por vertedor, presentando un ingreso de 1.32 m3/s.
Mientras la presa Plutarco Elías Calles “el Novillo” almacena 1641.660 Mm3, que representa el 57.9 % de su capacidad normal; la Álvaro Obregón “El Oviáchic” tiene un almacenamiento de 40.8 %, de 1233.610 Mm3, y la Adolfo Ruiz Cortines “Mocúzari” registra un almacenaje de 17.9 por ciento y una extracción por obra de toma de 25.200 m3/s.
