Elisa Díaz con su obra “Principia” compitió con 88 poemarios recibidos de todo el país
Hermosillo, Son.- El Instituto Municipal de Cultura y Arte (IMCA) dio a conocer que Elisa Díaz Castelo, originaria de la Ciudad de México, es la ganadora del XV Premio Nacional Alonso Vidal y recibirá sus premios durante la celebración en esta capital del Festival Internacional del Pitic 2017.
La obra se titula “Principia” y consta de 24 poemas distribuidos en 80 cuartillas y dos epígrafes. El Jurado comentó que dicho poemario cumple cabalmente con las bases específicas de la convocatoria y su autora expresa con potente y acertada voz, la aceptación obligada de vivir el desencanto.
El encargado de notificar a la triunfadora fue Juan Carlos Baena, Subdirector de Patrimonio Cultural y Bibliotecas, quien estuvo acompañado por Rodolfo Nevárez Medina, Subdirector de Vinculación Cultural y los miembros del Jurado, Laura Delia Quintero, Jorge Ochoa y Horacio Valencia, de lo cual dio fe la notaria, Karina Gastélum.
El Premio Nacional de Poesía Alonso Vidal se realiza anualmente con el objetivo de impulsar la producción poética en México y difundirla. El premio de este año consta de la publicación del trabajo ganador y 50 mil pesos.
Como se anunció desde el lanzamiento de la correspondiente convocatoria, la premiación será en el marco del XV aniversario del Festival Internacional del Pitic.
Elisa Díaz Castelo estudió letras inglesas en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) y cursó una maestría en escritura creativa en la Universidad de Nueva York. Sus poemas han aparecido en distintos medios de comunicación como el Border Crossing, Tupelo Quarterly y Poetry International, entre otros.
