Álamos, Son.- Con la asistencia de más de 40 mil personas del 20 al 25 de enero, el Festival Internacional Alfonso Ortiz Tirado 2017 se prepara para su clausura este sábado 28 con un sólido operativo de seguridad y protección civil.

En rueda de prensa, el Director General del Instituto Sonorense de Cultura, Mario Welfo Álvarez Beltrán informó que en este periodo se registraron 37 mil visitantes procedentes de 15 municipios de Sonora y 3 mil del resto de México o el extranjero, a quienes se suman 9 mil asistentes en las subsedes.

Advirtió que se esperan entre 10 y 12 mil personas este viernes 27 y entre 16 y 19 mil personas el sábado 28, por lo cual se tomaron tres acciones sustanciales:

1. Traslado del escenario del Callejón del templo hacia la Plaza de Armas, porque representa mayor capacidad de espectadores.
2. Diseño de operativo de seguridad coordinado entre el Gobierno del Estado, Ayuntamiento de Álamos, así como corporaciones policiacas de los tres niveles de gobierno.
3. Diseño de plan de contingencias, incluyendo atención médica.

Álvarez Beltrán explicó que al momento se ha ejercido el 70% del presupuesto total de 24.8 millones de pesos, destinado al pago de honorarios, hospedajes, transportación, escenarios y gastos operativos derivados de esta edición numero 33 del festival operístico más importante del noroeste de México.

En seis días de actividad cultural, en el FAOT se han presentado ya más de 140 eventos y 680 artistas en escena; además, de acuerdo a las encuestas aplicadas el 98% ha expresado opiniones positivas sobre el mismo y no se han presentado incidentes mayores, médicos ni de seguridad.

Por su parte, el alcalde de Álamos, Axel Omar Salaz Hernández señaló que para los eventos de cierre con Armando Manzanero y Los Ángeles Azules con la OFS, se creará un perímetro de seguridad de 1 kilometro a la redonda desde la Plaza de Armas.

Ante ello se restringirá la circulación de vehículos desde las primera horas del viernes 27; se concentrarán los servicios auxiliares como paramédicos, ambulancias, bomberos y elementos de seguridad, así como la señalización de las rutas de evacuación. Se suman al operativo de seguridad la región sur del estado: Huatabampo, Etchojoa, Navojoa y Ciudad Obregón.

Ambas autoridades agradecieron el apoyo de los comerciantes de la Plaza de Armas y de las tiendas de autoservicio donde expenden bebidas en envases de vidrio, para evitar su venta, por lo cual recomendaron a los visitantes abstenerse de traer bebidas en envases con estas características.

En la rueda de prensa también estuvieron presentes José Roberto Rodríguez León, Jefe de grupo de la Policía Estatal de Seguridad Pública; el comandante Ricardo Vásquez Aguayo, Director Técnico de la Unidad Estatal de Protección Civil de la Secretaría de Gobierno; el Dr. David Pérez Muro, Director del Hospital Comunitario de Álamos; Benjamín Mejía Navarro, Comisario General de Seguridad Pública de Álamos; Jorge Nuñez Hernández, Jefe del Departamento de Medición y Servicio de la Comisión Federal de Electricidad; Alberto Quiroz Ramírez, titular de la estación Navojoa de la Policía Federal; José Damián Mexía Maldonado, Comandante de la Estación Navojoa de la Policía Federal del área de Seguridad Nacional.

2. La presentación de Armando Manzanero, será a las 22:30 horas en la Plaza de Armas
3. La presentación de La Rumorosa, será a las 23:30 horas en La Alameda Nocturna

Sábado 28
1. La función de Para soñar que no estamos huyendo, será a las 21:00 horas en la Casa de la Cultura (foro Noctambulario).
2. La presentación de Los Ángeles azules y la OFS, Foro será a las 22:30 horas en la Plaza de Armas.
3. La presentación de Callahan será a las 23:30 horas en la Alameda Nocturna.
