En conmemoración del Día Internacional de la no violencia contra la mujer, la diputada del Grupo Parlamentario de MORENA, Alicia Gaytán Sánchez, llevó a cabo el Foro de Atención a las Violencias de Género, con el objeto de exponer situaciones en donde se vulneran los derechos de las mujeres.
La legisladora por el III distrito y presidenta de la Comisión para la Igualdad de Género en el Congreso del Estado, subrayó que la violencia contra las mujeres es todo acto de agresión al sexo femenino que tenga o pueda tener como resultado un daño o sufrimiento físico, sexual o psicológico, así como las amenazas de tales actos, la coacción o la privación arbitraria de la libertad, tanto si se producen en la vida pública como privada.
“Estamos pasando por una situación de violencia muy fuerte en Sonora, donde han ocurrido varios feminicidios, además de diversos casos de violencia en el ámbito político, laboral, escolar y social. Tenemos que generar conciencia y empezar a transformar nuestra sociedad a través de valores. A través de acciones de promoción y prevención que puedan reconocer y visibilizar este problema antes de que se produzcan nuevas situaciones de esta índole”, comentó.
Gaytán Sánchez indicó que la violencia contra la mujer sigue siendo un obstáculo para alcanzar la libertad, desarrollo y paz, al igual que el respeto de los derechos humanos y para erradicar la presente situación, se busca que toda persona víctima sea escuchada y atendida por especialistas en la materia.
En el panel sobre la atención a violencias de género, tanto la especialista en Seguridad Pública, Amalda Almada Navarro, la psicóloga del Instituto Sonorense de la Mujer (ISM), Alejandrina López Verdín y la representante del Observatorio Ciudadano Nacional del Feminicidio en Sonora, Silvia Núñez Esquer, coincidieron que toda mujer víctima de violencia debe asistir a sesiones terapéuticas y denunciar a las autoridades correspondientes cualquier tipo de agresión.
En la conferencia magisterial “La trata de personas para la explotación sexual en México” la psicóloga Mónica Soto Elizeaga, afirmó que se logró visibilizar en el derecho internacional, la Constitución y en estudios que la prostitución denigra al ser humano y lo pone al nivel de una mercancía.
Subrayó que es necesario visibilizar cómo se ha enfrentado este fenómeno social en el mundo y los resultados alcanzados, planteando experiencias como las de Suecia, Noruega y Francia, donde existe un modelo de castigar al “cliente” para luchar contra las redes y el proxenetismo.
