Luz verde al Gasoducto y al sur de Sonora

La verdad es que fue un proceso largo y tortuoso en el que salió a relucir la herramienta de la negociación y los acuerdos como argumentos principales, el hecho es que de manera si usted quiere silenciosa, durante la última semana del mes de diciembre, se completaron los 12 kilómetros de gasoducto que estaban pendientes en territorio de la Tribu Yaqui y esto es un alivio en toda la extensión de la palabra.

Mire, usted conoce la historia reciente, 7 de los 8 pueblos Yaqui estaban de acuerdo y firmaron acuerdos con la empresa Ienova, solo faltaba Loma de Bacum, el desacuerdo trajo incluso un choque entre miembros de la etnia y la paralización por 2 meses de la obra.

Al final el dialogo pudo más y desde el miércoles pasado comenzó a correr la especie de que todo estaba a punto y que ahora las distintas fases del gasoducto se están interconectando.

Todo este proceso ha sido muy importante para Sonora, pero los plazos se están llegando, con la feliz noticia de que también los tiempos de la empresa a cargo de la construcción y posterior operación del mismo, han sido puntuales, de modo que en un plazo no mayor a 6 meses la obra de 860 kilómetros será terminada, se dará la conexión con el Gasoducto del Pacífico, que la firma Transcanadá ha estado construyendo en Sinaloa y al final el hecho es que tanto Cajeme, como Navojoa y Huatabampo accederán al servicio del gas natural entubado.

Ahora esto es una gran noticia para la región sur de Sonora, porque la disponibilidad de gas natural marcará la diferencia en materia de competitividad para esa zona, que ahora podrá aprovechar de mejor manera su enorme potencial en el desarrollo de negocios industriales en sectores tan variados como el de alimentos procesados, autopartes, electrónicos e incluso industria aeroespacial.

Será necesario que también la empresa Fenosa Gas concluya con la construcción de las redes de distribución y ramales que se operarán en cada zona urbana, que se establezcan los acuerdos y se disponga de infraestructura adecuada para alojar a las empresas que busquen instalarse en esas ciudades.

En ello, por supuesto la iniciativa privada juega un papel importante, aunque también los gobiernos estatal y los municipios relacionados tendrán que hacer un esfuerzo por su parte, primero en la renovación de sus parques y espacios industriales, pero también en la adecuación de sus estrategias de promoción de sus respectivos municipios como destino de inversión, además de las regulaciones, incentivos y facilidades para la instalación de proyectos industriales.

El gas natural es y será un activo que podrá ser determinante, sin embargo también cada zona urbana que busque subirse al tren del desarrollo industrial deberá hacer un esfuerzo para adaptarse al reto del desarrollo y ubicar condiciones que propicien el crecimiento que esto trae consigo.

El “Gasoducto Sonora” es una inversión gigantesca, hablamos  de mil millones de dólares en una infraestructura que corre desde el sur de Tucson, hasta la frontera con Sonora, hasta ahí la firma Mitsubishi, tiene operando un gasoducto que se conecta a la enorme tubería de distribución de gas que viene desde Texas, ese gasoducto baja a El Sásabe, donde se conecta con la obra de Ienova, y desde ahí baja por Caborca, y Pitiquito, hasta

Hermosillo y posteriormente a Guaymas, para dirigirse al sur del Estado.
El proceso ha tomado más de 2 años, mucha ingeniería y personal altamente especializado, ya opera de hecho en Puerto Libertad y según tengo entendido tiene ya la capacidad de hacer entregas en Guaymas, a la Comisión Federal de Electricidad —que es el cliente primario y motivo de la construcción del gasoducto— y eso ha obligado a la paraestatal a trabajar a marchas forzadas para la transformación de sus centrales eléctricas en en la zona y a construir un proyecto que se llama Guaymas 2, y que se ubica justo en Empalme.

La disponibilidad de gas natural a partir del “Gasoducto Sonora” es anuncio de buenos tiempos, de grandes oportunidades de inversión y desarrollo y aunque hemos localizado las expectativas para el sur de la entidad, creo que abre la posibilidad de establecer un corredor de desarrollo industrial a lo largo de todo su trayecto. En Hermosillo por ejemplo Gas Natural del Noroeste, construye un ramal para conectar el sector oriente de la capital al gasoducto y tengo entendido que ya hay un proyecto para sumar a Caborca a esta revolución que representa la disponibilidad del combustible.

Jorge Vidal Ahumada, me confirmó hace unos días lo que se venía, y ayer en Cajeme terminó por plantear que se viene una nueva y gran etapa para el desarrollo del estado.
Gran elemento es este, que se viene a sumar a la mezcla que tenemos en Sonora justo en el momento en que necesitamos herramientas para empujar nuestra competitividad.
