El próximo sábado 25 de mayo, a partir de las 12:00 del día, se llevará a cabo la sexta edición del Festival de la Curvina en el Golfo de Santa Clara, en donde se espera una asistencia de más de dos mil personas.

La presidenta del comité organizador Miriam Pérez, informó que para la preparación del evento, ha sido fundamental la coordinación con el 28 Ayuntamiento, ya que han tenido todo el respaldo del alcalde Santos González Yescas para sacarlo adelante.

Dijo que se espera la participación de por lo menos 30 expositores y vendedores de curvina en sus diferentes presentaciones, por lo que los asistentes podrán encontrar gran variedad de degustaciones de ese producto.

Además, habrá una exposición realizada por pobladores del Golfo de Santa Clara, en alusión a la historia del poblado.

Expresó que aprovechando la celebración del Memorial Day de Estados Unidos, se espera la asistencia de turismo del vecino país del norte, lo que ha contribuido al avance del festival en seis años de celebración, en donde cada año hay más concurrencia y participación.

En el festejo, se tendrá un festival artístico, así como la coronación de la reina del Festival; para el programa artístico, se tendrá la participación del Ballet Folclórico del CUT.
