La presidenta municipal de Hermosillo, Celida López Cárdenas hizo entrega de las llaves de 50 nuevas unidades que sumarán a la vigilancia de los 100 sectores que hay en la ciudad y la zona rural.
Con una inversión de 27 millones 998 mil 150 pesos, provenientes del Subsidio para el Fortalecimiento del Desempeño en Materia de Seguridad Pública de los Municipios (Fortaseg), se adquirieron 25 pick up de la marca Chevrolet, línea Silverado 2500, modelo 2018, 4 por 4, doble cabina, así como 25 motocicletas BMW de la serie F750GS, modelo 2019.
La alcaldesa Celida López agradeció a las personas que realizan el trabajo administrativo que está detrás de proyectos tan relevantes y que hacen posible el equipamiento de la Policía Municipal.
«Gracias a todos los que conmigo están comprometidos con nuestra ciudad, al Tesorero Alberto Azpe Fimbres, a Manuel Cáñez de Bienes y Servicios, a Daniel Sánchez, Oficial Mayor por el esfuerzo, a todos los que hicieron posible este primer paso», agregó.
La munícipe explicó que se requieren una cantidad de no menos de 120 patrullas más para poder tener la cobertura adecuada en todos los cuadrantes y sectores de la ciudad y así responder de manera casi inmediata al llamado del ciudadano.
“En este gobierno municipal podemos escatimar en todo, menos en la seguridad, pero no olvidemos que esto no solo se trata de policías y ladrones, sino de una sociedad organizada y responsable», reiteró.
López Cárdenas también hizo énfasis en que además de las 120 unidades que hacen falta, también requieren 600 policías más.
«También necesitamos que este año los policías tengan su Certificado Único Policial, estamos en un esfuerzo enorme por la profesionalización de la Policía», aseguró.
Luis Alberto Campa Lastra, Comisario General de la Policía Preventiva y Tránsito detalló que las 25 motos serán destinadas al área de Tránsito Municipal y las 25 patrullas a la Policía Preventiva.
«Ninguna de las unidades va a ser comisionada o asignada a ningún mando o responsable de zona, exclusivamente van a ser asignadas al servicio de la vigilancia en las colonias y los sectores de mayor relevancia en cuestión de incidencia y de llamadas al 911», aseguró.
Tras el análisis de información estas nuevas unidades serán destinadas a la vigilancia y supervisión de 37 sectores de patrullaje de los 80 que hay en la ciudad.
Campa Lastra agregó que con este nuevo equipamiento responden a la petición e instrucción de los ciudadanos de tener más presencia en las calles de la ciudad.
“Estamos seguros que vamos a reforzar, que la ciudadanía nos va a ver vigilando cada vez más y más su colonia como ha sido su petición y su instrucción”, puntualizó.
