En esta temporada también se incrementa el consumo de mole envasado, chocolate y atoles, de gran utilidad para las ofrendas.

 

En sus 27 mil tiendas comunitarias, instaladas en todo el país, Diconsa oferta velas y veladoras a bajo precio a fin de colaborar a mantener viva una de las tradiciones más significativas como es el Día de Muertos.

Personal de los 300 almacenes de la paraestatal se dieron a la tarea de abastecer, con antelación, todos los puntos de venta en las zonas rurales ante la demanda que este producto tiene en el último trimestre del año y, principalmente, para los días 1 y 2 de noviembre.

El gerente de la Sucursal Diconsa en el Estado de México, Fidel Acosta, explica que en esta época del año no sólo aumenta la distribución de velas y veladoras, sino también de alimentos tradicionales como moles envasados, atoles en polvo, chocolate y harina, ingredientes que son utilizados para la elaboración de ofrendas.

“Estamos hablando de una tradición nacional, sin embargo, cobra mayor fuerza en el ámbito rural y como tal, nuestro compromiso es acercar a esa población todo lo que necesita para sus altares. Con ello evitamos que los habitantes tengan que trasladarse grandes distancias para adquirir sus veladoras. De paso, contribuimos a mantener viva una cultura ancestral tan importante”, expresó el funcionario.

En el Estado de México se surtieron 85 mil 500 veladoras en más de 1 mil 200 tiendas comunitarias, las cuales, se prevé, se agotarán en las primeras semanas de noviembre, auguró Acosta.

Michoacán, donde el rito en torno a la muerte es muy colorido, aún más en las regiones de Pátzcuaro, Tzintzuntzan, Janitizio, Jarácuaro, Ihuatzio y Tzurumútaro, los 9 almacenes rurales de la región distribuyeron 18 mil 880 ceras en las más de mil tiendas comunitarias, dijo por su parte, el gerente estatal, Francisco Javier Espinosa Mújica.

En Nayarit, comentó el subgerente Rafael Sandoval, “el altar es la parte más importante del Día de Muertos y además del pan y los platillos típicos, las veladoras no pueden faltar. Nuestros 8 almacenes rurales movilizaron 26 mil 300 piezas a los cerca de 700 establecimientos Diconsa”, señaló.

Cabe destacar que, en Tabasco, las velas y veladoras son artículos de gran demanda durante el año. Hasta octubre, la Unidad Operativa había desplazado más de 16 mil 500 en las casi mil 100 tiendas comunitarias.

El gerente de la Sucursal Peninsular, Francisco Fuentelzas Novelo, expuso que, en Campeche, más de 2 mil 200 ceras fueron vendidas en los últimos meses, mientras que, en Yucatán, las tiendas comunitarias han distribuido alrededor de 2 mil 600 piezas. En Quintana Roo, por su parte, más de mil 500 ceras fueron ofertadas.

El titular de Diconsa Tamaulipas, José Trinidad Gómez, explicó que en los 43 municipios que conforman el estado hay alrededor de 700 tiendas comunitarias, “puntos de venta donde se ofrecen velas y veladoras todo el año. En lo que va de 2017, se han movilizado más de 118 mil ceras”, afirmó.

En tanto, en Sonora, explicó el subgerente Carlos Millán, “tan solo en octubre se han distribuido 8 mil 400 veladoras”.

En Querétaro y Guanajuato, la influencia de grupos indígenas como chichimecas, pame y otomíes han permitido mantener el festejo de Día de Muertos, afirmó el gerente de la Sucursal Bajío, Manuel Mendoza, “aunque los productos de ceras se venden todos los meses, a la fecha se han desplazado más de 686 mil 500 velas en las más de mil 500 tiendas comunitarias”, explicó.
