HERMOSILLO, Son.- El gobierno de Claudia Pavlovich registró este miércoles la primer baja en lo que va de su administración de gobierno, al presentar su renuncia voluntaria al cargo de Coordinador de Fomento al Turismo, Antonio Berumen.

Dicha dependencia que mantiene presupuesto propio y es responsable del diseño de estrategias para la promoción de Sonora como destino turístico, es considerado prácticamente una secretaría de estado, aunque en el organigrama de gobierno depende directamente de la Secretaría de Economía.

Sin embargo para efectos prácticos el trabajo del funcionario del área se reporta de manera directa a la gobernadora, y sus resultados se presentan como esfuerzos separados de su área rectora.

Berumen, quien anteriormente participó como director de finanzas del IMSS, tuvo a su cargo varios programas rectores, en especial dar mayor conectividad aérea a Sonora como destino turístico, pero también como centro de negocios, focalizándose a Hermosillo.

También la misión particular fue recuperar el brillo de Puerto Peñasco y San Carlos Nuevos Guaymas como destinos de altura para el turismo internacional, en especial para la zona suroeste de los Estados Unidos y el vecino estado de Arizona.

El relevo queda pendiente, y a cargo de la dependencia queda Héctor Platt Mazón, en una decisión que fue tomada el primer día hábil de este 2017 para el gobierno de Sonora.
La misma gobernadora Pavlovich ha anticipado que podrían darse más cambios en su gobierno, sin embargo se ha resistido a ofrecer detalles al respecto.
