Para sancionar a los servidores públicos que incurran en nepotismo, la Diputada Diana Platt Salazar, presentó una iniciativa para adicionar un artículo a la Ley Estatal de Responsabilidades del Estado de Sonora, propuesta que fue turnada a la Comisión Anticorrupción.
El nepotismo, señaló en su exposición de motivos, es considerado como una forma de corrupción política que afecta el principio de igualdad en el acceso a la función pública, pero en la legislación estatal no está contemplado.
La diputada de MORENA por el VI distrito explicó que en el estado y en el país existe la necesidad de acabar con viejas prácticas, que, por no encontrarse bien reguladas en la ley, es aprovechado por quien practica un incorrecto y contrario actuar a la ética en su desempeño como funcionario público.
“En Sonora no contamos con una ley que regule esta conducta. La transformación de la Nación que actualmente estamos viviendo, exige acabar de una vez y para siempre con lo que la cúpula del poder ha generado. El nepotismo, como conducta generadora de mafias del poder, en muchos casos ocasiona también el desorden del gasto público, la asfixia de las finanzas públicas, la inequidad de las relaciones laborales, traducida en la falta de oportunidad de unos para darle privilegios a otros pocos”, manifestó.
Platt Salazar indicó que con este nuevo artículo a la ley los servidores públicos no podrán contratar, nombrar, seleccionar o designar a personal de confianza o por honorarios a familiares para ocupar un empleo, cargo, comisión, prestación de servicios, compra o renta de bienes muebles o inmuebles para el ente público al que pertenezcan.
“Si algo ha ofendido a los ciudadanos, es ver la política y gobierno como fuente de riqueza para el beneficio personal o de un grupo limitado de personas. Se ha visto como familias han hecho patrimonio desmedido, siendo esta una cultura tan arraigada, que incluso, llegó a ser considerada como normal, y la manera de hacer política. Esto ya cambió, el pueblo abrió los ojos, y cada vez el rechazo a estas prácticas desleales es mayor”, declaró.
La iniciativa que propuso pretende ampliar la Ley Estatal de Responsabilidades para que se contemple como falta administrativa grave el nepotismo.
