Al ser la producción de películas y series una industria en constante crecimiento, generadora de empleo y una importante derrama económica, la Comisión de Fomento al Turismo (Cofetur) en Sonora estuvo presente en la Reunión Anual de Comisiones Fílmicas en Veracruz.
El Director de Promoción y Eventos de la Cofetur, Luis Alberto González González, explicó que Sonora cuenta con una amplia variedad de locaciones y municipios que son dignos de ser transmitidos en series y películas de talla nacional e internacional, razón por la cual se asistió a este importante evento.
«El objetivo fue mostrar la belleza de nuestros destinos y promocionar sus atractivos, que las grandes productoras de cine y televisión vean a Sonora como una excelente opción para que se realicen sus grabaciones, también es una excelente plataforma de promoción de los destinos que las reciben», señaló el funcionario público.
González González informó que durante el importante evento cinematográfico, la comisión sonorense que viajó hasta ese puerto presentó la diversidad de atractivos con los que se cuenta, como playas, desierto, pintorescos pueblos, sin olvidar la riqueza cultural y gastronómica de la región.
«Mantuvimos reuniones con representantes de otros estados y con gerentes de locaciones, queremos posicionar a Sonora en el mapa nacional de destinos para realizar grabaciones, tenemos el compromiso de continuar, de trabajar por el bien del sector y sus prestadores de servicios», destacó.
El funcionario recordó que en Sonora se han hecho producciones relevantes como; Chávez, de Diego Luna; Babel, de Alejandro González Iñárritu, grabada en Puerto Peñasco; Rápido y Furioso 4, en Magdalena de Kino; y la más reciente filmación parte de la serie Falsa Identidad, de Telemundo, que se grabó en los municipios de Álamos, Navojoa y Ciudad Obregón.
