Para promocionar Sonora, sus principales atractivos turísticos y la amplia oferta gastronómica con la que cuenta, personal de la Comisión de Fomento al Turismo (Cofetur), organizó una presentación de destinos que se realizó en Chihuahua, Chihuahua, informó Armando Ceceña Salido.

El coordinador de Cofetur comentó que personal de la dependencia, prestadores de servicios, integrantes de la Asociación de Hoteles, Moteles y Touroperadores, además de las Oficinas de Convenciones y Visitantes de Sonora, estuvieron en el vecino estado para invitar y dar a conocer los lugares más representativos de Sonora, además de las actividades y eventos próximos.

«Tenemos una gran cantidad de destinos para que disfruten nuestros amigos de Chihuahua, les presentamos las playas, los pueblos mágicos, las ciudades y nuestra gastronomía, fue una gran oportunidad para promocionar nuestras bellezas naturales y principales destinos «, explicó.

Ceceña Salido reveló que también ofrecieron una muestra gastronómica y los invitados disfrutaron de los platillos más representativos de Sonora, como la carne asada, coyotas, bacanora y vino de la región; además dieron a conocer el detalle de grandes eventos, como el crucero que zarpará de Puerto Peñasco, las Fiestas del Pitic en Hermosillo, y el Festival Alfonso Ortiz Tirado de Álamos, entre otros.

«Chihuahua es un emisor natural de turismo hacia nuestro estado, entonces fuimos y les hablamos de todo lo que tenemos para ellos, nos reunimos con sus prestadores de servicios para que también conozcan nuestros destinos y viajen a ellos, además de que se establecieron alianzas comerciales», expuso el funcionario.

El presidente de la Asociación Sonorense de Touroperadores, Julio César Rascón Torres, añadió que el asistir a la “Expo Viaja de Chihuahua”, tuvieron la oportunidad de crear lazos y ofrecer sus servicios para la atracción de turistas a Sonora.

«Tuvimos esta oportunidad y la aprovechamos, los asistentes de esta Expo Viaja conocieron más de nuestros destinos, sus atractivos y sobre todo la calidez de nuestros servicios, seguiremos impulsando a Sonora de la mano con la Comisión de Fomento al Turismo», mencionó Rascón Torres.
