La economía de Sonora sufrió la caída de 10 mil 591 puestos de trabajo durante el mes de marzo como efecto de la pandemia de Coronavirus y la desaceleración económica que esta ha traído consigo, de acuerdo con el reporte mensual del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social.

El IMSS reportó que al mes de marzo Sonora presentó una caída del 0.6 por ciento en el volumen de trabajadores asegurados, respecto a marzo del año anterior, lo que supone 3 mil 809 bajas en lo relativo a la comparación del mismo momento del año anterior.

Sin embargo la economía de Sonora había mostrado una evolución favorable en materia de empleo y nuevas altas para alcanzar un récord en empleo formal de 641 mil 534 trabajadores registrados ante el Instituto. 

Al cierre de marzo la entidad tiene un total de 630 mil 943 trabajadores asegurados ante el IMSS, lo que a pesar de las bajas, representa uno de los máximos niveles históricos en materia de empleo; sin embargo será el mes de abril el que presente mayores reportes de bajas ante el descenso en las actvidades de los sectores industria, comercio y servicios, sectores con alto impacto en la vida económica de la entidad.

Sin embargo la crisis global del Covid-19 alcanzó a México que reporta una caída idéntica a la de Sonora del -0.6% un total de 130 mil 593 bajas, siendo Sonora uno de los estados más afectados.

La economía nacional a pesar de la desaceleración, sigue mostrando números positivos respecto al año anterior con  134 mil 435 empleos nuevos que persisten a pesar del efecto de la pandemia, sin embargo al aumentar la velocidad de contagios y el paro de actividades a nivel nacional es de esperarse que para el final de abril esa tasa sea negativa.

El estado más afectado por la pandemia es Quintana Roo que tuvo en marzo una caída de -7.4% en los empleos, seguido de Baja California Sur con una baja de -3.6%, lo que se explica al ser ambas entidades dependientes del sector de turismo y servicios.

Por el lado contrario es Tabasco el estado que mejor comportamiento ha mostrado con un alza de 4.4% seguido de Campeche con 4% en positivo y Sinaloa con un incremento del 3.3%.

De acuerdo con el IMSS hay en el país 20 millones 482 mil 943 trabajadores asegurados, de lo que el 85.9% son permanentes y solo el 14.1% son eventuales.

De acuerdo con el Instituto el sueldo promedio en México entre trabajadores afiliados es de 399 pesos con 30 centavos, con un aumento del 7.1% nominal respecto al año anterior.
