El Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE) alerta a los ciudadanos cuya Credencial perderá vigencia este año, para que soliciten su renovación a la brevedad posible.
Al respecto, la Licenciada Luz Elena Flores Sánchez, Vocal del Registro Federal de Electores Estatal expresó que los electores que tengan una Credencial en la que se señale que su vigencia es el año 2019, deberán acercarse, cuanto antes, a cualquier Módulo de Atención Ciudadana del INE para solicitar su renovación o, de lo contrario, ésta dejará de serles útil para votar e identificarse, a partir del 1 de enero del 2020.
Sobre el particular, la Licenciada Flores informó que el año de vencimiento de la Credencial está señalado en la parte baja del anverso de su identificación electoral y añadió que, en caso de que ya se les venza, los ciudadanos pueden solicitar una cita en el Módulo de su preferencia, ingresando a la página electrónica del INE (www.ine.mx) o llamando a INETEL, sin costo, al 800 433 2000.
Finalmente, la Licenciada Luz Elena Flores reiteró la invitación a los electores que estén en esta situación, para que no dejen pasar el tiempo, porque no habrá prórroga de esta fecha y pueden quedarse sin su mejor identificación oficial.
