Ya en la recta final de las campañas las cosas comienzan ponerse feas e incluso rudas, con la violencia política en contra de las mujeres como una de las expresiones más negativas y nefastas que pueden haber en nuestro entorno.

Mire, la candidata al Senado de Juntos Haremos Historia, Lilly Téllez, accedió a participar en una de las sesiones de la llamada “Mesa Cancún”, y los desacuerdos fueron tal nivel entre algunos de sus integrantes y la periodista que acabaron intercambiando comentarios, primero medio en broma, medio en serio, respecto a que en realidad son “comentócratas” u “opinilogos”, pues se trata básicamente de columnistas que difunden sus artículos de opinión.

Sin embargo ese comentario de Lilly Téllez no gustó, y fue utilizado por algunos de ellos como argumento para subir el tono e írsele literalmente al cuello, en algunos casos con señalamientos y comentarios que rayan en el mal gusto y en la grosería, lo que con justa razón es interpretado por la candidata como violencia política de género, porque la verdad es que al hablar de su supuesta incapacidad por el hecho de ser mujer o por estar cercana a la menopausia, como en señaló en algún artículo, si es ir demasiado lejos.

Mire, en lo particular no comprendo como un grupo de varones que se dedican al periodismo de manera profesional, pueden caer en una actitud de ese tipo y dejarse llevar por sus filias y sus fobias particulares, para ponerse a insultar a una candidata, que por supuesto merece todo el respeto primero por el hecho de ser una dama, y después por estar participando en un proceso político en el que se supone que se están guardando las formas.

Simplemente no va, y menos en un momento en el que se dieron pasos en Sonora para poner el piso parejo a las mujeres y hombres y garantizar que el 50 por ciento de las candidaturas recayeran en mujeres, por cierto a iniciativa de la gobernadora del estado, Claudia Pavlovich Arellano.

Peor aún, a instancias de la misma gobernadora Claudia Pavlovich, se firmó hace un par de semanas un acuerdo para eliminar la violencia política de género y al acuerdo acudieron todas las fuerzas políticas y las instituciones encargadas de la organización del proceso político y de cuidar porque en el trayecto de las campañas y la elección no se violen y rompan las leyes.

La misma gobernadora ha narrado de manera repetitiva su experiencia siendo víctima de esas actitudes, de como por el simple hecho de ser mujer se le cuestionó en su capacidad, o de como se le repite que hay alguien detrás de ella que le dice cómo actuar respecto a las decisiones que toma al frente del gobierno.

Es decir esas actitudes misóginas no son bien vistas por la primera autoridad del estado, que espera ante todo respeto hacia su investidura y las de las mujeres que están en la contienda.

Estoy seguro de que muchos de los que participaron en el desayuno del miércoles 29 en el Hotel Gándara, tendrán sus razones por interés propio o creado para ver con recelo a Lilly Téllez, sin embargo eso no justifica la actitud grosera, la denotación o el insulto en su contra, y la verdad es que si partimos de que la forma es fondo, habrá que asumir que en su nivel, son ellos quienes no están preparados para observar la participación de la mujer en política con equilibrio y equidad, respeto y educación, ya por lo menos porque su invitada terminó pagándoles el desayuno, pero sobre todo por su condición de mujer.

Este caso, que según entiendo será denunciado ante el Instituto Estatal Electoral entrando la semana, se suma al otro muy lamentable de violencia política en contra de la candidata del Movimiento Ciudadano a la presidencia municipal de Caborca, Patricia Azcagorta, a quien también se le atacó por el hecho de ser mujer, o las amenazas contra mujeres candidatas de los distintos partidos políticos, que se han manifestado, aunque no han llegado a la denuncia;  eso es algo que no puede seguir pasando.

Es anacrónico a nuestra realidad, Sonora es un estado que tiene a la única mujer gobernadora, hay 3 damas que son candidatas al Senado, como son Sylvana Beltrones, la misma Lilly Téllez y Leticia Cuesta, hay por lo menos 10 mujeres que son candidatas a diputadas federales y de acuerdo con el Instituto Estatal Electoral hay 2 mil 44 mujeres que compiten por alguna de las 72 alcaldías o las 33 diputaciones locales en sus municipios y distritos, por lo que es más que probable que muchas de ellas se conviertan en legisladoras, sean del Congreso del Unión o del Congreso del Estado, o que terminen encabezando alguna presidencia municipal, y en ese contexto creare aplicar violencia política contras las mujeres es algo que ya debió quedar hace años en el pasado.

Ojalá la autoridad electoral tome cartas en el asunto, por lo menos para capacitar a los comunicadores que no lo entienden respecto a lo que es la perspectiva de género.

Un programa de gobierno que realmente ayuda a marcar la diferencia en la calidad de vida de las personas el que inició este fin de semana de parte de la gobernadora Claudia Pavlovich, que es el de “Piso por Tierra”, que consiste precisamente en sustituir los pisos de tierra que muchas personas tienen todavía en sus viviendas por pisos de concreto.

Con esta medida, se ayuda y mucho a combatir la proliferación de enfermedades respiratorias, además de quitar de una buena vez de las casas fauna nociva que representa un peligro en potencia como son las garrapatas y otros insectos.

Se trata de inicio de 213 acciones, que benefician a igual número de familias y que representan la inversión de 2 millones 130 mil pesos, y la verdad es que es el tipo de esfuerzos que puede hacer de manera directa el gobierno con mayor impacto en el día-día de las personas.
