1.- El PRI ganó la elección en el Estado de México, pero perdió más de un millón de votos en la entidad.
El PRI libró el desafío más grande que tenía en este proceso electoral y retuvo la gubernatura del Estado de México. Pero ese triunfo le va a dejar un sabor amargo. Los datos de cierre del PREP indican que obtuvo 33.7 por ciento de los votos que se compara muy desfavorablemente con el 62 por ciento de los obtenidos hace seis años por Eruviel Ávila. En términos absolutos, el actual gobernador consiguió tres millones 18 mil votos, frente al millón 995 mil de Alfredo del Mazo. La pérdida fue de un millón 23 mil votos, o el equivalente a 28.3 puntos de la votación emitida.
2.- Morena tuvo un panorama de ‘claroscuros’.
Los claros tienen que ver con el impresionante éxito del partido de AMLO que, en su primera participación en una contienda por el gobierno del Estado de México, obtiene un cercano segundo lugar con 30.8 por ciento de los votos emitidos o un millón 786 mil votos. Sin embargo, no todo fue mil sobre hojuelas para este partido. En las elecciones municipales en Veracruz, la entidad con el tercer mayor padrón del país, obtuvieron, con los datos del PREP, 557 mil votos, equivalentes a 17.4 por ciento del total. En la elección para gobernador del año pasado habían obtenido 26.4 por ciento del total, equivalente a 809 mil sufragios. Es decir, Morena perdió 9.2 puntos porcentuales de la votación o 252 mil votos.
3.- Al margen del resultado, en Coahuila el PRI perdió muchos votos.
En 2011 el priista Rubén Moreira obtuvo el triunfo en las elecciones de Coahuila con 60.1 por ciento de los votos, 721 mil sufragios. Para esta elección aún no se tiene la cifra final porque el PREP sólo abarcó 70 por ciento de las casillas. Sin embargo, al cierre de éste, el porcentaje obtenido fue de 38.3 por ciento. Así que, de mantenerse esta cifra luego de los cómputos distritales que tendrán lugar mañana, el retroceso habrá sido del equivalente a 21.8 puntos porcentuales. De hecho en esa entidad el PAN obtuvo hace seis años –también con Guillermo Anaya– 35.2 por ciento del total, apenas un porcentaje ligeramente menor al que habría obtenido en los comicios de este domingo. Es decir, el PAN se quedó más o menos igual pero el PRI se desplomó.
4.- La votación global por el PAN se mantuvo relativamente estable.
Además de no haber cambios significativos en el porcentaje de sufragios obtenido por el blanquiazul en Coahuila, tampoco los hubo en el Estado de México. Josefina Vázquez Mota obtuvo 11.3 por ciento de los votos frente a 12.3 por ciento logrado por Luis Felipe Bravo Mena en 2011. En el estado de Veracruz incluso hay una caída respecto a lo obtenido por la alianza PAN-PRD en las elecciones a gobernador del año pasado. Ahora se obtuvo 32.9 por ciento de los votos, frente a 34.4 por ciento con el que ganó la elección Miguel Ángel Yunes. Tampoco hubo –pese al triunfo– un cambio significativo en Nayarit. El PAN obtuvo 38.4 por ciento de los votos hace seis años y ahora, aliado con el PRD ganó 38.7 por ciento, lo que le valió la gubernatura.
