Aún así, la página web de la agencia, dependiente del Departamento de Salud de EE.UU., recuerda que hay «evidencia» que «sugiere» que este nuevo virus puede permanecer viable durante horas y hasta días sobre superficies de varios materiales; por lo que recomienda limpiar y desinfectar aquellas que estén visiblemente sucias.
Limpiar y desinfectar sin hacer daño
Como explican los CDC, existe una diferencia entre limpiar y desinfectar, procesos que se deben hacer en ese orden. Con el primero, retiras la suciedad y reduces el número de gérmenes, y con el segundo, matas a muchos de los que todavía quedaban tras la limpieza.
Apple recomienda en su página web apagar el teléfono y retirar todos los cables antes de limpiarlo. Luego, utilizar una tela con tratamiento antipelusa (por ejemplo, la que te regalan las ópticas cuando te compras lentes nuevos) ligeramente humedecida para retirar la suciedad.
