Un año de Cuarta Transformación

Me preguntaban cuál es la principal diferencia o avance que percibo luego de un año de gobierno de Andrés Manuel López Obrador y mi respuesta fue sencilla y directa, existe un cambio de humor social en donde el principal rasgo es de optimismo y esperanza. En pocas palabras el cambio es que los mexicanos tenemos la posibilidad y el derecho a ser felices a partir de un cambio real en la actitud y vocación del gobierno.

Esto no significa que todo esté bien, o que las cosas avancen a pedir de boca, el principal reto que enfrenta el gobierno de la cuarta transformación es la inseguridad, que usted sabe se manifiesta en violencia y muertes por todo el país.

Yo sumaría como segundo reto la necesidad de impulsar un ¡crecimiento económico constante y sólido, pues si bien la disciplina y enfoque que ha tenido el gobierno de López Obrador ha permitido estabilidad e incluso ha permitido que el precio del dólar se mantenga estable, incluso con ganancias para el peso (4% se ganó en un año), la inflación controlada dentro del rango objetivo del Banco de México de 3% y finanzas públicas sanas, es evidente que es necesario crecer para construir una economía más sana.

El presidente López Obrador manifestó en su mensaje a los mexicanos este domingo, 1 de diciembre, que se logró una mejor distribución de la riqueza y que México paulatinamente se convierte en un país más justo.

Esa idea que tiene el presidente de que la economía no solo requiere de indicadores de crecimiento en alza, sino también de desarrollo y equilibrios, no es un desacierto en si misma, sin embargo mi opinión es que es necesario tener una expansión del producto nacional a fin de que se genere la riqueza que su gobierno quiere redistribuir, se puedan generar los empleos que se necesitan y en efecto, más mexicanos se incorporen a la lógica de ese bienestar que su gobierno procura.

Hay indicadores muy interesantes en materia de economía, que permiten pensar que el 2020 será un año de mayor crecimiento, en especial la captación de inversión extranjera directa, los compromisos del sector privado por invertir en el país, la captación de remesas en volúmenes extraordinarios y la marcha de los grandes proyectos de infraestructura, que se suman al esfuerzo impulsado por el mismo gobierno federal de poner dinero en manos de los ciudadanos que menos tienen a través de los programas de bienestar, lo que corresponde a una estrategia para combatir la pobreza y la marginación e impulsar el mercado interno.

Es evidente que López obrador hace una apuesta de largo plazo y que su proyecto no solo engloba los 6 años de su administración, se trata de un proyecto de país con un enfoque social, que procura impulsar a México como una nación emergente, una potencia económica a partir de la enorme riqueza de que se dispone, pero generando condiciones a favor de la gente.

Pero esto no significa que López obrador pretenda reelegirse, su búsqueda es propiciar los cambios, sentar las bases y que posteriormente lleguen los relevos, que mantengan ese proyecto de país.

También queda claro que esto no les gusta a sus adversarios, en especial a quienes se ubican en el espectro ideológico de la derecha, López Obrador genera polarización en ellos, lo rechazan por muchos factores de índole ideológica, pero también por cuestiones culturales e incluso por situaciones que rayan en la xenofobia y el clasismo. 

Por supuesto López Obrador además ha tocado fuertes intereses en su empeño de combatir la corrupción, les ha quitado grandes negocios de las manos a lo que él ha calificado “la mafia del poder”, con estrategias como el combate al robo de combustible, la evasión y los perdones fiscales y el impedir que se hagan grandes negocios con cargo al erario público.

Mi opinión es que el proyecto de la Cuarta Transformación avanza y que el país ha cambiado para bien en estos 365 días, eso no significa que las cosas estén muy bien, ni que todo marche a pedir de boca, se trata de un proceso de construcción en el que apenas se han colocado los cimientos.

Sin embargo me agrada la actitud y me agradan los mensajes que se emiten desde Presidencia de la República, me gusta la apertura y la disposición a informar, también me parece muy pertinente el lenguaje.

En el cierre de su discurso por el primer año de su administración, el presidente dijo algo que llamó mi atención, al señalar que él es solo un dirigente, que es el pueblo el que manda, que el pueblo es el señor y que su gobierno precisamente emana del pueblo para proteger los intereses del mismo pueblo.

López Obrador tiene razón  en muchas cosas, tumbé se equivoca en muchas otras, es un ser humano, no es perfecto, sin embargo tiene la visión y la disposición de conducir al país en un proceso de transformación a favor de la mayoría de sus habitantes.

Si usted revisa los resultados y si observa los pasos que se han dado, y mezcla estos enfoques con los niveles de aceptación que mantiene el presidente de la República luego de un año en el gobierno y que se ubican entre el 65 y el 70%, me entenderá a lo que me refiero.

Ahora la Cuarta Transformación y López Obrador entran en su segundo año y por supuesto el reto son los resultados, la esperanza ya está ahí.
