Con la finalidad sobre todo de prevenir la eventual falta de mano de obra suficiente para el desarrollo y cosecha de los cultivos, la diputada Iris Sánchez Chiu presentó una propuesta de exhorto este martes en el pleno del Congreso del Estado, con el fin de que se forme la bolsa de trabajo para el campo.

HERMOSILLO, Son.- La diputada por Hermosillo, Iris Sánchez Chiu dijo que solo en la Costa de Hermosilo y el Valle de Guaymas se ha detectado oportunidad para 4 mil personas y que se estima que la falta de personal es un riesgo latente ante el desarrollo de cultivos controlados en la región sur de México, en lugares donde tradicionalmente la gente emigra en busca de trabajo en temporada de cosecha.
En entrevista recalcó que a la fecha no existe ese problema, y aunque dijo que sería conveniente revisar la situación del Valle del Yaqui y el Mayo, o bien la región de Caborca y San Luis Río Colorado, el criterio es precisamente evitar que se llegue esas condiciones.
Además dijo que está la posibilidad de que llegue una oleada de trabajadores migratorios que pudieran ser deportados de los Estados Unidos, por lo que es razonable —opinó— que se conozca la oferta laboral que existe en el campo de Sonora.
En ese sentido, la legisladora exhortó a los titulares de la Secretaría de Economía, de la Secretaría del Trabajo y de la Secretaría de Agricultura, Ganadería, Recursos Humanos y Pesca, así como a los titulares de la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores y del Instituto Nacional de Migración para que actúen en consecuencia.
Sánchez Chiu dijo que el llamado a las citadas dependencias es para que, de manera coordinada, lleven a cabo las acciones tendientes a crear una bolsa de trabajo con empresarios y productores agropecuarios de la Entidad, con el propósito de atender las demandas de fuentes de empleo, tanto en el campo como en la ciudad.
“Con esta bolsa de trabajo se busca crear oportunidades para la mayor cantidad de personas, incluyendo a los migrantes que sean repatriados, con la prioridad de cubrir el enorme déficit laboral que existe dentro de las actividades agropecuarias en el estado”, dijo.
Sánchez Chiu mencionó que de acuerdo con la Red Nacional de Organizaciones de Jornaleros de los Estados Unidos, se estima que en ese país existen de dos a tres millones de trabajadores agrícolas, de los cuales, el 53% son indocumentados, mientras que, del total de trabajadores agrícolas, el 75% son mexicanos.
